How did you get into doing your own Custom Cars?

When I was 16 I had a regular car like everyone else. One night I was speeding and totaled my car. I had little to no money because my job wasn’t paying much, so I had to settle with what I could get my hands on at that time. I started using car parts from other cars and also customizing parts to fit on the car. Once I realized how easy it was to Customize a car I realized it was something I would want to continue doing

Considering you have your own shop what persuaded you to be an Entrepreneur?

When I totaled my car to get extra money I was hustling sell fireworks. When I was selling firework I worked for myself, but at the grocery store I had to take orders for little money; that’s when I realized I want to always work for myself

Considering you were surrounded by Custom cars and racers starting at a young age. When did you first compete?

My friend had a customized 1943 Flat Fender Jeep with 800 Horse Power. I would help him fix and customize the Jeep when I was 12,He entered the Jeep in a few local Car shows;people would bring there best show cars out in the rain, snow or cold. I would help my friend put new parts and customize his Jeep every Sunday. I couldn’t compete and enter the competition until I was 18. When I turned 18 I entered my first competition at three o'clock in the morning on a Friday. I skipped school to be at at the competition with the car at eight o'clock in the morning. I had to work hard at maintaining, adding pieces to the car and keeping it looking good or my friend wouldn’t put his name behind me and support my competing. My friend expected me to keep my car at competition level considering I was his friend.

What mistakes do you see people make when trying to make there car custom?

They try to do to much to fast, it’s not easy. You have to be patient. The results may start slow but with a good plan your work will definitely speak for its self

You now have Klass Forged Tires on your car. Can you tell me what made you switch to those

I took a break from Customizing Cars for about three years to start my own business. My company installs Tires and Rims. I couldn't devote my time to Customizing cars because I was so busy, but then the business settled. I decided to get back into it because I started making more money and getting sponsors. One day by surprise Klass Forged called me. A customer saw me in an old Car competition video and after seeing the video the company set out to find me. They persuaded me that those rims & tires are a better look for the car

What words of wisdom or advice do you have for anyone that wants to have the best customized car on the street?

Work on your car, have a plan, expect to work long hours on your car; at the end it will pay off. Don’t expect a lot of results over night. Building a car from basic to one of the best is a process.

What are some of your hobbies or things you do on your spare time?

Spend time with my family. Go to car shows to see the newest styles, and I also work on my own cars
